APG Works - Sheffield

Anya Raczka, Kyle Fox and myself held an exhibition of our prints at APG Works in Sheffield last month. We had a great evening at our private view on Wednesday 19th February seeing friends and family, mingling with Sheffield artists, art enthusiasts and familiar faces on the scene. Thanks to everyone that came! I hope you enjoyed the cheap alcohol! (and the art work)

My Facebook page is currently down due to the fact I stupidly decided to give up Facebook for lent.... I am not religious but thought I'd enjoy the 'personal challenge' in hopes I would feel like I have achieved something when really I haven't. Back online at Easter! I would actually recommend giving up Facebook. I have found myself procrastinating less and rather than trailing through everyones news feed in bed every night, I now read instead or make endless to do lists. Huzzah! I do miss the cat videos though...

Ladybird Likes - Etsy

For a while now I have admired the jewellery created by Zoe Jade Bateman, the owner of 'Ladybird Likes.' Recently I purchased one of her creations- a stunning, carefully crafted butterfly necklace, which has instantly become my favourite item of jewellery! I love Zoe's unique style and admire her clear appreciation for nature, in particular woodland animals and flowers, which are commonly featured in her work. Other than nature, Zoe draws inspiration from magazines and vintage items found at car boot sales. Retro cameras, geometric shapes, typography and the colour mint green are also frequently present in her designs. 

"I try not to follow trends too much, and just make things that I'd like to wear."
